To join the OENODOC PhD Programme, you need to :

  •  hold a master graduate degree or degree equivalent level, preferably in a relevant sciences field or in the subject field covered.
  • speak English
  • speak at least a little bit french (level B2 or C1-C2), since all OENODOC doctorate students spend at least 6 months at the University of Bordeaux.
  • be legally able to work in a foreign country.
  • last but not least, it is necessary to have funds.

The programme can offer PhD proposals, but eligibles applicants can also propose research project including mobility scheme.

The key factor will be the relevance of the applicants' previous studies and experience with regards to his/her research project. Internationally recognised English proficiency certificate equivalent to TOEFL score of 580/237/92-93 or IELTS score 6.5. (Reference CEEC - Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). A final face to face interview through a videoconference system is performed by the Board of Education.

We help students to find fellowship (from universities, industrials or the EU) but currently, we are not able to welcome new OENODOC students. The call is open throughout the year regarding the offer of fellowships.

We may receive EU funds in the next months and reopen OENODOC applications.
