2nd Symposium (Nov 2014)

Coordinated by the Professor Pierre-Louis TEISSEDRE of the Bordeaux University, the 2nd OENOVITI International symposium hold on the 3rd November 2014 at the Geisenheim University (Germany), one member of the OENOVITI International network.

This second scientific symposium focused on the viticulture field thematic: Exploitation of autochthonous and more used vines varieties.
18 academic and industrial experts of international renown have presented their research, the latest data and prospects in this area. They discussed and shared with the participants on the 4 following topics: “genetic characterization, phenotyping and pedigrees”, “tolerance to abiotic stress”, “diseases to control”, and “exploitation”.
This thematic is the subject of study of one of the working groups of the network that had gathered to work on the next call of proposal launched by the European Union in the framework of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions.
